Violators were stopped at the border with Hungary by borderguards of the division «Vylok» of the Mukachevo BG detachment.

During the implementation of the information provided by the employees of the operative and investigative department, the border detail detected two persons residents of Donetsk and Cherkasy region near the border.

In the course of further search activities, borderguards detected seven men who tried to hide in the forest strip on the outskirts of the village of Velyka Palad. The detainees did not hide their purpose of the illegal crossing of the state border. Each of them carried bags with basic necessities.

Four of the detainees came to Zakarpattia from Kyiv region, one from Poltava region, one from Dnipropetrovsk region and another one from Cherkasy region to enter the EU illegally.

Currently, it is known that all the detainees had to pay from 500 to 4,000 US dollars the services of smugglers.

The detainees were taken to border units to clarify all the circumstances and draw up protocols on administrative offences.

Currently, employees of operative and investigative units of the Mukachevo detachment establish a circle of persons involved in the organization of illegal trips of men abroad.
